Andrea L. Cantu, MBA, is
the Founder and Owner of Marquee Image
Models and Promotions, a model management and promotional staffing company
based in San Antonio, TX servicing the entire state of Texas. Andrea brings over ten
years of industry experience to Marquee
Image. She founded the company in April of 2009, enthusiastic to
provide quality models to clients in San Antonio and beyond. Bringing
her unique "No-Drama Policy" to the company's culture, Andrea strives to defy
the norms in the modeling industry by creating a close-knit, supportive group
of models without negative individualism and to encourage an environment of professionalism and respect.
Andrea’s educational background
includes a Bachelor of Arts in French and Business from the University of Colorado at Boulder, an
International Business Certificate from
the Instituto Tecnológico in
Monterrey, Mexico, many experiences abroad allowing her to speak multiple
foreign languages, and a Master in Business Administration from the Escuela de
Graduados en la Administración y Dirección de Empresas in Monterrey,
Mexico. Her educational background
is paired with extensive professional experience in the promotional and fashion
fields, including work with such brands as Coors, AT&T, Clear Channel, Cadillac, Macy's, Tiffany & Co., and more.
Andrea’s entrepreneurial
spirit and her passion for growth has allowed her to provide an array of
services including promotion staffing, runway and print models, coordination of
fashion shows and special events, bilingual staffing, professional
portfolio photo shoots and modeling classes to aspiring models, and most recently, work in the Film and Television industry.
Andrea
is a member of the Board for the San Antonio Youth Summit and the Advisory
Board for the International Academy of Technology and Design. Andrea is also a
2010-2011 member of Fashion Group International, a global, non-profit,
professional organization responsible for Fashion Week all over the world.
